Unequal Dialogues is a monthly podcast hosted by Dr. Manaswini (Manu) Ramkumar, focused on informing the public about topics in civil military relations around the world.

Dr. Manaswini Ramkumar works on civil-military relations and democratic decline. She was a Canadian Defence and Security Network Postdoctoral Fellow at Carleton University from 2024-2025, and a McCall MacBain Postdoctoral Teaching and Leadership Fellow with McMaster University from 2025-2026. She received her PhD in International Relations from the School of International Service, American University. Prior to that, when she was an Associate Research Fellow with the Institute of Defense and Strategic Studies in Singapore, she was a lecturer in Professional Military Education to the Singapore Armed Forces. This experience cemented her professional interest in civil-military relations. Currently, she's a contract analyst for GeoQuant, a political risk intelligence platform.
